Entry Requirements
Students must achieve 5 GCSE grades at 4-9, including a 4 in English Language and Maths for entry into Sir William Robertson Academy Sixth Form. Students must also meet the specific entry requirements for their chosen courses as outlined below.

Subjects marked with an asterisk * are Level 3 BTEC or NCFE courses. All other subjects listed are A Levels.
The Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) will be launched in Summer 2022. Year 12 students will be invited to undertake the EPQ subject to them working at their MEGs in each subject, as well as meeting expectations in effort grades and conduct across Base Time and Enrichment lessons.
The Extended Diploma in Sport is the equivalent of three A Levels, and therefore can be selected as a lone course. We also offer Sport as the equivalent of 1 A Level which can be taken alongside other courses.

Please remember that the deadline for internal students (current SWRA Year 11) is Friday 9th December 2022 and the deadline for external students is Friday 3rd February 2023. Applications after this date will of course be considered equally but certain subject combinations may not be possible as our timetable is drawn up based on initial applications.
All applicants will be met for an informal interview regarding subject choices and career aspirations to ensure an appropriate pathway has been selected. Conditional offer letters will be issued after this process.
External Students
