Movie: All-time favourite movie is ET, closely followed by Top Gun & Seven
Childhood Book:The Velveteen Rabbit and Dogger – the story of a little boy who lost his treasured toy dog.
Colour: I just love all colours, but indigo blue are yellow are my favourites!
Drink: Diet Coke (and the odd Martini cocktail)
Food: It’s got to be a traditional Sunday roast made by my mum
Sports: I enjoy training at my local gym and swimming, as well as riding my bike
Extra Info: I absolutely love Snoopy (as many of my students will tell you) and have a rather large collection of Snoopy memorabilia! I also like Moomins a lot and all things from the 1980’s – including my favourite 80’s band, Wham! Spending time with my family and friends.
Some Other Stuff...
Hobbies: Anything connected to art and design – I especially like creating my own artwork using different methods of printing. Gardening, DIY, gym and supporting my own kids with their hobbies and interests; I have been roped in to canoeing in a lake, attempting snowboarding and mountain biking (amongst other things)!
Pets: A cat named Oreo and a rather large hamster called Big Bruce.
Dislikes: Snakes and foods with a slimy texture
Interesting fact/ talent? I am fascinated by typewriters and have a small collection of them, ranging from 1950’s to 1970’s, each with their own story to share. My most recently purchased typewriter is made of Lego – although I’m yet to start building it!
